Join Norland sewing lecturers to create a fabric badge inspired by something you care about. Use reclaimed fabrics and simple sewing techniques to design a unique badge that shares your message while celebrating creativity, sustainability and caring for our planet. Suitable for ages 7-11. All abilities welcome. All materials provided. Adults must attend.
Please purchase one ticket for each child/adult pair (one ticket for two people). Kindly be advised that there is no parking on site.

Explore the art of colourful visible mending with Lizzie from Little Moth Mends. Learn traditional hand-sewing stitches, including seed stitch, blanket stitch and running stitch, and discover how to creatively mend, repair and personalise T-shirts, knitwear and denim, giving your favourite clothes a new lease of life. Suitable for ages 10+. All abilities welcome. Bring a garment to repair, mending materials provided. Adults must attend.

Bring an old shirt and transform it into a piece you'll love wearing again. Learn creative upcycling techniques with the Norland sewing lecturers while exploring how craftivism and self-expression can challenge fast fashion and celebrate individual style. Suitable for ages 13-17.
Previous experience: This workshop is designed for those with some prior sewing experience and is not suitable for complete beginners. Participants should be able to use a basic sewing machine independently, sewing straight seams, and operating the machine safely.
Please bring one oversized shirt to upcycle. All other materials and equipment will be provided.
