15-21 MARCH 2027
fashion action is climate action is collective action
Future Citizen is a week of sustainable fashion action for 11 to 23-year-olds. It’s about sharing knowledge, learning new skills and building fashion habits that stick. Coordinated by A Single Thread, we connect schools, colleges and universities across the country. Each one is invited to host activities for students and their wider community - shining a light on fashion's real impact on people and planet.
The programme is packed with everything you need to actually do something about it.
this year, we’re talking about resilience
The theme for Future Citizen 2026 is RESILIENCE IN STYLE: Redefining Fashion. In a world designed to make you consume more, dressing on your own terms is an act of resistance.
This year, we’re asking: how do you actively shape your relationship with fashion through personal style?
