Future Citizen is a week of sustainable fashion action for 11 - 23 year olds. It’s about sharing knowledge, learning new skills and building fashion habits that stick. We connect up schools, colleges and unis across the country to create a programme that gives students everything they need to understand fashion’s impact and actually do something about it.

The theme for Future Citizen 2026 was RESILIENCE IN STYLE: Redefining Fashion. In a world designed to make you consume more, dressing on your own terms is an act of resistance.

In the UK, 47% of adults are buying pre-loved clothing, rising to 72% among Gen Z.
In the UK, nine in ten young adults bought a pre-loved item in the last year.
