VENUE ACCESSIBILITY
The haberdashery and main classroom are located on the first floor and are currently only accessible by stairs, so they are not wheelchair accessible. The staircase has a gradual incline with handrails, which some people with limited mobility may find manageable, but it will not be suitable for everyone. There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor and are happy to bring products downstairs where possible.
Some events also take place at fully accessible partner venues, with accessibility information provided in each event listing.
MEET YOUR HOSTS:
The Kiwi Fruit is Cute is a haberdashery and community craft hub run by three best friends with a passion for creativity and sustainability, based at Normandy House on Lower High Street in Cheltenham, ran by Siobhan Westmacott.
They offer free and paid creative workshops, a clothes repair station, a sustainable craft market and clothing swaps, while working with local partners including Vision 21 at School House Café and The Greenhouse in St Paul’s to make creativity more accessible to our community. Lucy and Siobhan will be joined by Samantha Potter and Zarina Ismail across their Hub activities.
