MONDAY 28 SEPTEMBER

Times: 5.00-6.30pm
This workshop teaches participants how to make a variety of fixes to their clothing. It helps teach meaningful and practical skills and leaves them with a new appreciation for repairing over repurchasing. Participants can bring a clothing item that needs to be repaired. Suitable for confident beginners & intermediate sewers.

The Connect to Transform Lab workshop entails participants bringing an item that they seldom wear and consulting with other attendees to help repurpose their garment! This event brings the community together while keeping pieces out of landfills.
Bring along aclothing item that you haven't reached for in a while but stays in your closet. Suitable for confident beginners and intermediate sewers.

Business Casual Clothing Swap: participants can take home a preloved piece for every clothing item that they donate! Afterwards, they will be able to sit in for a panel discussion to learn about sustainable fashion led by local artisans! Bring 3 clean, ready-to-wear business casual items to swap.

THURSDAY 1 OCTOBER

Make & Mend: Little Makers, Big Impact is a hands-on family workshop delivered by Sustainable Fashion Week Canada and Musey. Participants will become "textile detectives," learn basic mending skills such as sewing buttons and patching fabric, and create their own upcycled keepsake.
Bring along 3 clothing items you would like to donate + 1 thing that needs to be repaired. Those aged 6-12 yr old need to come with a caregiver

Musey is a social enterprise based in London, Ontario, founded by Maheshi Wanasundara, focused on making sustainable fashion more accessible, creative, and community-driven.
Musey works with local community partners, makers, educators, businesses, and organizations to deliver programming that encourages circular fashion, skill-sharing, creative reuse, and meaningful community action. Musey are working in partnership with Sustainable Fashion Week Canada.
This year, they have events at the London Public Library, London Children's Museum, North West London Community Resource Center, Innovation Works and a few other locations in London, ON and Toronto, ON.
