SUSTAINABLE FASHION WEEK 2026
Returning for 2026, Sustainable Fashion Week is a community-led programme of activity, for community benefit, where people around the UK and wider afield are shifting their fashion habits towards more sustainable choices.
The Future of Sustainable Fashion
We will be sharing who has signed up, where activities are taking and full events details over the coming months as we count down to the programme launch in August.
How to take part
Host an event linked to sustainable fashion for your local community.
The programme is split into two parts: our Community Events and our regional Hubs that deliver multiple activities.
What is a Hub?
A Hub is an immersive space which delivers at least 3 different types of activity - so, for example: workshops, talks and a clothes swap. They can take place in one venue or staged in multiple places across a town or city (or even county!). Hubs can be hosted by one person or multiple partners and across multiple venues.
What is a Community Event?
A one-off event or activity like a skills learning workshop, or a fashion show. These can be tiny or large in scale and can be hosted by one person / organisation or a collective. You can host more than one event in the Community Events programme, too!
Community Collaboration
Join forces with your friends, neighbours, colleagues and fellow creatives to take part in the programme.
Previous programmes have included events such as clothes swaps, mending circles, preloved fashion shows, film screenings, panel discussions, talks, workshops, mend in public events, repair cafes, even a climate assembly! Anything is welcome, as long as it’s linked to fashion and sustainability.
Looking to join an event? We’ll be promoting the collective programme so you can find out what’s happening in your area from August.
